Our family stayed at Northstar. We have 2 small children and they loved it! The Norikura village was a great place for our children to hike both with concrete and dirt trails through the woods. Onsens, restaurants, and other activities were within easy walking distance. The Northstar staff were terrific and the meals were great! The lodge has lots of activities to keep our family busy and happy also.
My family has been visiting Northstar for 6 years. I don’t think you can find a more welcoming atmosphere, with a kind and sincere staff and excellent snowboard instructors. The chef prepares wonderful meals that are served family style. We have also visited in the spring and fall for hiking and biking. It is a non- stress environment to share with friends and family.
